Steve is a familiar face in the Hawke’s Bay and Gisborne regions, having been a Commercial Manager with UDC for more than 13 years.  Steve brings over 39 years of banking and finance experience to his role, predominantly from lending money and managing commercial relationships with businesses small and large.

With this vast experience, Steve has significant expertise across a wide range of industries, from forestry, agriculture and road transport through to construction, civil contracting and aviation.  He really ‘gets’ these businesses operating in the Hawke’s Bay and Gisborne regions.  The highlight of Steve’s role at UDC is watching his customers evolve and grow, and working with them to take up new opportunities to see their businesses thrive even more.

In his down time, Steve loves to relax with family and friends.  He is a big fan of local sporting and music events as well as travelling the country… and further afield when time permits!

Kris joined the UDC team in 2018 and has proudly been managing the Hawke’s Bay and East Coast / Tairawhiti regions since.  He has over nine years of experience working in the finance sector, originally kickstarting his career in banking across the ditch in Perth, Australia.

Kris thrives on helping people build and grow successful businesses, from startups to sizeable companies.  His speciality industries include civil contracting, forestry, transport, aviation and agriculture.  He has customers in these industries whom he works closely with to help them achieve their business goals with good asset finance decisions.  He’d love to help more businesses do the same!

When Kris is not working hard for UDC, he spends his time entertaining his two very active sons – from bike rides to sports to skateboarding… and everything in between!  Kris also enjoys playing golf and supporting the many amazing wineries and breweries in the Hawke’s Bay and East Coast / Tairawhiti regions.

Tim may well be classified as a ‘young gun’ with just over five years under his belt at UDC, but he brings with him more than 15 years of strong finance experience across retail, business banking and asset finance.

Tim is a well-rounded expert when it comes to asset finance in the Taranaki region, with his finger particularly on the pulse with financing road transport and agricultural contracting gear.  If you’re looking for a partner who will work with you towards your goals and be committed to doing what is right by you, then look no further than Tim.

When Tim’s not busy working hard for his UDC customers, he likes to spend time with his wife and two young sons.  You might also find him out on the golf course or riding one of his motorbikes on the tracks of Manfield or Taupō.

Geoff certainly knows a thing or two about asset finance in New Zealand.  He has worked in financial services for over 24 years, with nine of those years as a commercial manager for UDC specialising in construction and forestry.

What inspires Geoff in his role?  “It’s easy to say ‘the customers’ but it’s really the only answer”, says Geoff.  “Putting the right finance in place and then seeing first-hand the work that our customers do with the gear we finance is massively rewarding.  Whether it’s building roads, shifting stock or harvesting logs, it’s a thrill to be involved in a number of different industries and with business owners that make a real difference to the New Zealand economy from the work they do”.

What inspires Geoff outside of UDC?  You’ll often find him near the ocean or in the hills in the beautiful Wellington region on weekends.  He also enjoys spending quality time with his family and pottering around his home.

When it comes to asset finance, Trixie knows her stuff.  She has had over 30 years of experience in the banking sector, and more than seven years working in the Central commercial team at UDC.

Trixie likes nothing better than to receive referrals from her existing customers.  She prides herself on really listening and understanding what businesses need, tailoring finance solutions to suit their situation, and ensuring her customers are looked after so they can grow and in fact thrive in business.

Trixie loves to stay active in her spare time, whether it is walking her dog Leo or riding her electric bike.  She is also a bit of a dab hand at golf, playing regularly with her girlfriends as part of the ’50 Shades of Pink’ team!
